The Weekend

Friday Night:Some friends and I watched Avatar on the lounge's BIG flat screen TV. Scottie promised that if Marisa and I booked the lounge he'd provide the movie. I'd never seen Avatar before and I really enjoyed it! We had a great time!Saturday Afternoon:
I love faux hawks...I don't know what it is about them but I LOVE them! I basically tell every boy I come in contact with to wear his hair in a faux hawk. So Saturday afternoon Britton came over to make us some deliciously HOT guacamole! It was so hot my eyes started watering but I didn't stop eating it! haha. Then he let me style his hair in a faux hawk. We didn't have really good gel so it didn't hold well but it turned out pretty good...
Sunday:
Marisa and I had a little time on our hands Sunday afternoon and commenced to take pictures...Then later Scottie came over...

All in all a GREAT Weekend!!!!

HOME!

So far being home has been FANTASTIC! I am loving every minute of it!

I am home for a week and then I head back to Rexburg for the Spring Semester. I have finally got everything figured out and that is a wonderful feeling! I'll be working as a nanny, not taking classes. I am so excited, it's going to be a great summer!!
I wanted to share this scripture because it is the story of my life right now, Hebrews 10:36 "For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise". I took the leap of faith and everything worked out. I am eternally grateful and feel so blessed that I don't even have words to describe how blessed I am. All I can say is that the Lord does provide a way for things to happen. You just have to place your faith and trust in Him and have a little or a lot of patience!

The End is in Sight!!!

So remember about three months ago a blog entry I wrote entitled "If I Don't Blog for a While it's because I've Crawled into Hole and I'm Not Coming Out"...yeah...but guess what!? I never crawled into the hole and it's too late to do so now. I've got 2 more days left of the semester, 2 final days with only 2 finals! Oh my gosh I am still breathing! It's literally a miracle...especially the past few weeks, I honestly didn't think I'd live to see these last 2 days! But I did! Hallelujah!!
But I can't celebrate yet because I do have 2 more finals and one of them may be one of the scariest experiences of my life...my English Oral Exam. Brother Hunt is just waiting to chew me up and spit me out. If I come out of that interview with an A I will be ECSTATIC! I've just got to finish reading Sophie's World(I'm not even half way, thanks for asking) and finish my A Grade Project. Oh man I can't wait for 9:15 Friday morning when I walk out of Bro. Hunt's office...anyways...

So if any of you are wondering about my plans for the summer (I'm sure you've all been sitting on the edge of your seat) I will be staying Rexburg. I will hopefully be working! I'm in the process of looking for a job and I'll probably be taking some classes too. There isn't a specific reason for staying (no it's NOT a boy, although I know some of you are thinking it) I just know that Rexburg is where I'm supposed to be. The nice thing is I don't have to pack my stuff away! I'm just moving upstairs.
But I am really excited, it's gonna be a good summer! Just got to finish this week!!!!

Finding Our Inner Kid...

Yesterday my roommates and I dyed eggs! It was pretty fun! We had tons of dye colors. We were having so much fun that we then decided to do some coloring, dancing, and create little creatures out of paper! This is Scott with his egg, which he named "Peaches"

Alright, so we have an "orka" oven mitt...they are pretty sweet. Well Britton decided that it needed eyes...
Attack!Well...eyes weren't enough. It needed teeth too...

Scott was really into the Princess Coloring Book...

I wish I had picture of our dancing! Scott performed Thriller for us.(It was pretty much amazing and I decided we should be friends forever!) Me and Marisa did our dance to She Wolf. Then Scott, Marisa, Britton, and I danced YMCA and the Macarena. It was legit. Then we colored in the Princess Coloring book with my 96 crayons! It was very therapeutic. I think that we should find our inner kid more often.

Leap of Faith

Have you ever known that you needed to do something but you didn't want to do it because you didn't know what the outcome would be? Have you ever just wanted to take the easier road but you knew that if you did you wouldn't grow? Have you ever just been strolling happily through life and everything goes your way and you know that it's got to end at some point because it's just been too simple?

I'm sure anyone and everyone who reads this has experienced all that. I am currently experiencing that and let me tell you how it is....it's exciting and something new but it's also FREAKING me out!!!!! I fought it. Yes I did. For about a week I fought it. The Lord kept nudging me and I tried my best to ignore Him. But ignoring the Lord hardly ever works...I was completely restless, fidgety, and got zero sleep for three days before I caved and did what I knew I was supposed to.

So two choices lay before me, both were good and even desirable. And I chose the one that will be the hardest but the most rewarding.
